The Fastest and The Most Expensive Car

Bugatti Veyron Super Sport
If the McLaren F1 is still a sensational car almost twenty years after it was first seen – and by all accounts it is – the Bugatti Veyron will still be so in 2025, two decades after its introduction, and beyond. Quite simply, there is nothing else that looks like – or goes like – this amazing car, the most expensive car in the world today.
Pagani, Koenigsegg and other newcomers to the game may have tried their best to provide us with simply sensation machines that push the boundaries of the game, but it was the Volkswagen Group – an unlikely starting place for some – who were left to bring us what has been described as the ‘Car of the Decade’, and more.
The original concept came from a Bentley concept – that company is also owned by the VW Group – and the decision to revive the legendary Bugatti name is one that has been something of a success.

World's Smallest Vertebrate

World's Smallest Vertebrate

The tiniest frog and the tiniest vertebrate that currently exist on the planet Earth was discovered recently in a rainforest on the island of Papua New Guinea. Before the discovery of this frog, a tiny transparent fish from Indonesia was the world record holder for tiniest vertebrate at eight milimeters long. The frog however, is slightly smaller than that, measuring only 7.7 millimeters (average species size for adults). The tiny size of the the frog, its habits and its habitat all contribute to why it wasn't found before.
The frog, which currently has no common name except for "the tiniest frog from Papua New Guinea", has the scientific name of Paedophryne amauensis. It sounds like an insect with the high-pitched mating call it makes. It is dark brown with black patches and blue-white dots. It can jump 30 times the length of its body.

The Unique Creature, Chameleon!

Chameleons have to be the most visual stunning lizards. Some species have it all - horns, pincers, the ability to change colors, eyes that can look in different directions, a tongue twice the length of its body and a curly tail.

Chameleon looking up there and over there

Chameleons are specialized tree-living lizards. Their bodies are flattened from side to side, and more or less leaf-shaped. They remain still and concealed for long periods of time and wait for their prey to come near. When they move, they do so slowly, and rock their bodies from side to side like a leaf in the wind, fooling predators and prey. Their tails and pincers are well adapted for climbing and balance. The prehensile tail can be used to grab large and small twigs and branches. The tail is also quite heavy and is used to give them great balance. It then handily folds up into a nice tight spiral for easy portability. Also, since the eyes can look all around, up and down, they don’t have to move their heads to keep an eye, or both eyes, on their prey.

SOCOTRA ISLAND

Socotra (Arabic: سُقُطْرَىSuquṭra), also spelt Soqotra, is a small archipelago of four islands in the Indian Ocean. The largest island, also called Socotra, is about 95% of the landmass of the archipelago. It lies some 240 kilometres (150 mi) east of the Horn of Africa and 380 kilometres (240 mi) south of the Arabian Peninsula. The island is very isolated and through the process of speciation, a third of its plant life is found nowhere else on the planet. It has been described as the most alien-looking place on Earth. The island measures 132 kilometres (82 mi) in length and 49.7 kilometres (30.9 mi) in width.
Socotra is part of the Republic of Yemen. It had long been a part of the 'Adan Governorate, but in 2004, it became attached to the Hadhramaut Governorate, which is much closer to the island than 'Adan (although the nearest governorate is Al Mahrah).
